“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God, not a result of works so that no one may boast.”

Ephesians 2:8-9

No matter where you are in your faith walk, please join us. If you are new to your faith, please come and grow with us. If you are already well along in your faith journey, please join us as we are the hands, feet, and face of Jesus in the community and the world. And if you have lost your way, please join us to find your way back to a deep and abiding relationship with Jesus.

Grace in the Desert does all that is humanly possible to live into the Grace that has been so freely given to us by our Heavenly Father through His Son Jesus and the working of the Holy Spirit.  We believe that we are to spread that Grace to the entire world, no matter who, what, when or where God calls us to do so.

We are a new church -- and small right now -- and are looking to partner with other like-hearted people who want to spread Love and Peace to a hurting world through our presence in the community we serve. We believe that, no matter our size, we can be mighty in our service to those who need what we have to offer -- the Love and Grace and Peace of Jesus.

Upcoming Events

Along with everyone else in the United States and the World, we continue to deal with the impacts of the corona virus. We pray with and for those who are impacted and those who are on the front lines of this pandemic. In addition, we are also dealing with a divided nation -- it saddens me that we are not able to come together during this time and do what is right for each other and for our nation. This is not what God has in mind for us -- He wants us to love everyone, just like He does. He doesn't want us to disagree based on political, ethnic, religious, or racial lines. He wants us to embrace the diversity that He has provided in our nation and our world and use it to make things better. It is so important right now that we gather as one in this nation and in the world -- and that we gather around the One who can bring us comfort, strength, and peace in very uncertain times. Generally, that would be through worship. In light of this pandemic, we are unable to worship with our usual crowd on Sunday mornings. However, we are not going to let Satan win -- he will not stop us from hearing the Word of God -- so we will continue to provide worship opportunity via Facebook Live. While our music license does not allow us to livestream music, we will be doing everything but the music moving forward.

June at Grace in the Desert

In June, we will be exploring the environment. This seemed like a timely topic given the fact that many people vacation during the summer months. We will explore who created our world and everything in it -- and who continues to create, who owns the creation that has been created, how we are one with the created world and worship it together, and what we are called to do as caretakers of the created world. We pray you will join us ...

Please note the change of worship time -- and also note that we will not be having formal Bible Study until September 14. However, please watch Facebook for information about possible impromptu gatherings during the summer.

Please plan to join us for worship via Facebook Live at about 5:00 Saturday afternoon Arizona time. If you are not on Facebook but want to participate in worship, look for the service videos to be uploaded to You Tube shortly after worship concludes. God Bless you All! :)

Help Those In Need

“And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need."
At Grace in the Desert, we believe it is important to not only take care of our own, but to take care of those in the community. The monies we collect are used to support our needs as a congregation and to support those ministries to the marginalized that we feel are important.  Please see our "Give" page for more information.
